Help me help you.

Ever wonder why life can leave you feeling like you’ve been spinning your wheels ultimately leaving you spent? You wonder if this is all there is to it. Go through school to get a good job to chase that special someone who ends up bringing along that little sample of you where you can invest your time and energy into helping that child complete the same cycle. Or maybe you have signed on to a more anti-establishment approach, chasing dreams and gratification but like that new car each and every new summit reached leaves you desiring for something else sometime soon later. Both routes can ultimately leave you with the same question: “Is this all there is?”
Well, technically it is. At least it is because that is the path we have chosen to walk. In flight school they used to love mentioning different laws of physics and one I believe can be applied beyond physics to the everyday life. That is Newton’s “to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction”. Other people may say “you get what you give”. I prefer “whatsoever a man sows that will he reap”. My life is a testimony to that fact. But for the sake of time and motive I will put a bug in your ear and plant a seed in your heart with an even more revealing phrase that much more specifically responds to the previously mentioned life question of “Is this all there is?” Whether you have heard these upcoming words before or it’s your first time or if you have heard of the one who uttered them or have never until now I would challenge you to be open-minded. For either one of these people these words contain no less power than the other. The fact is, they are the key to the door that you have been and will be searching for until you can answer that question. “Every one therefore that hears these words of mine, and does them, shall be likened unto a wise person, who built their house upon the rock: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon the rock. And every one that hears these words of mine, and does them not, shall be likened unto a foolish person, who built their house upon the sand: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and smote upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall thereof.”-Jesus the Christ
The only thing a seed needs is an open place to begin it’s journey. I encourage you to be open because to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. And that is a small way to help me help you. :^D
